Hands and Heart Ministries was officially founded in 2013 by Samuel Namalabe and Edith Nakawesi. Samuel, while working with Africa Renewal ministries and volunteering with Operation Christmas Child as a church mobilization coordinator, came to see the situation under which pastors serve in the rural settings; the body of Christ with very limited capacity to support the work of God and themselves. We were burdened and prayed to God on how we can be a part of his work and mission for his people/church. God gave us a vision; – a practical way of encouraging and empowering Christians through biblical training, raising animals and adoption of God’s principle of Work in their gardens for self-sustainability.
In 2011, our emphasis was to aid those in poverty. But God’s vision came to clarity in 2019 that without the spiritual transformation, we cannot see the physical change and church transformation.
What we have always looked at as a simple entrepreneurial project, much more impact have been realized; teamwork, unity, giving, love for one another, sustainable families/churches and eventually the gospel itself into the communities.
Our goals;
Transformational Christians honoring God through giving their hearts while serving Christ
